Early Andrew Family Migration

John Campbell Andrew (1808 - 1893)

Daniel Andrew, Sr. was born sometime around 1749 in Pennsylvania, and he married Mary Hunter there before 1765. Sometime before 1775, they moved to North Carolina where their son Daniel Andrew, Jr. was born. Before 1813, they had moved to Kentucky where both Daniel Sr. and wife Mary died.

Some time after his son John Campbell Andrew was born in 1808 in Kentucky, Daniel Jr. moved on to Tennessee where both he and his wife Mary Ann Cooper died.

John Campbell Andrew must have remained back in Kentucky as both he and his wife died there. He married three times. His first wife was Elizabeth Black Cooper, and together they had a son named Asa Frethius Andrew in 1839 in Kentucky. Asa Frethius Andrew was married in Kentucky to Louisa A. Wells, where they had Mary Etta Andrew. They moved to Grayson County, Texas. sometime after 1880.Asa Andrew (1839 - 1892)
